Yoga Exercises For Diabetes
Yoga may not be capable of curing diabetes, as any other medical science, still it has been proved to be very effective in keeping the disease under control. Yoga exercises combined with healthy lifestyle and relaxation training have done wonders for diabetic patients in the past. Yoga also helps in reducing the harmful effects of mental and physical stress and thus helps in keeping diseases like diabetes at bay. - Anulom-Vilom – This alternate nasal inhalation technique is very useful for maintaining correct hormonal balance in the body, hence very effective for people suffering from diabetes.
- Ardhamat Syendrasasana – The asana helps in keeping liver, spleen, bladder, pancreas, intestine and other abdominal organs healthy. It is beneficial in the treatment of obesity, asthma, dyspepsia and diabetes.

- Ujjayi Pranayam – It is also known as ocean breath or hissing breath. This exercise specifically helps the smooth functioning of thyroid gland.
